I Really Like Nice People

In my first post of our last trip to Houston (click here), I mentioned the man that offered to mail some scarves to me.  They came yesterday!  His name is Joe Clark, and he started making these while his wife was in the hospital being treated for lymphoma.  Now he just makes them to give to people.  He made a special stop on the way home from Texas to Florida to buy LSU fabric to make one for me.  How nice is that?  Boy was I excited.  I wear a similar type of scarf/hat every day.  This style basically ties like a do-rag or bandanna, but they are much nicer.  They are really well sewn and well made.  I couldn't resist posting some pics...

Here's one for Saturday...

And one for hunting...

And one for Halloween (think I might be a biker now!).  The skulls have orange glitter eyes.  I tied this one and the next to show how they look tied.  I'd take a picture of myself in one, but I look quite Halloweeny myself today :)

Here's my Christmas scarf I mentioned in the earlier post...

And finally a little country one with cherries on it.  Suits me well I think.

Aren't these cute?!  Thanks Mr. Joe and Mrs. Roz Clark for brightening my day at MD Anderson that day and yesterday when I received the package.  No telling how many people they have touched through this.  I was truly blessed.

Geaux Tigers!!!
