A much belated picture from Mother's Day
We celebrated by 29th birthday. My hubby cooked me dinner and bought me an ice cream cake, which I'd never had. My parents and brother gave me a swing for the back yard. My in-laws gave me a beautiful begonia. And I got a new gun from the hubby.
We celebrated Josh's first Father's Day. He bought himself this:
Catherine bought him this since he has a thing about saying "squirrel" instead of "girl."
It's about a dad who calls his daughter squirrel and raises cattle. What are the odds?
Can't believe it has already been 6 months since God blessed us with this little angel!
She brings me such joy, I cannot even put it into words. She loves real food. She loves it so much, I'm pretty sure she would be content with all food and no milk. Girl likes to eat like her mama! She will be crawling any day. She still does not sleep all night, but I can live with one middle of the night feeding. She won't be a baby forever, and I know I will miss cuddling with her at 2 am when she does sleep all night. She loves music, and Josh loves to play music for her and dance and sing with her.
She's sitting up well enough now to ride in the shopping cart like a big girl. Her first experience was hilarious. She would stare at people so hard that she would fall over.
She stayed overnight with her Nana (my mom) while we attended my one year late 10 year class reunion.
It was great to see everyone, but I am glad that's over for another 9 years! I was not cut out to be an event planner. I didn't even enjoy planning my own wedding!
Unfortunately I had to work on the 4th of July, but here is our little princess in all of her star spangled, red, white, and blue cuteness!
We are so very blessed!

Catherine is just gorgeous! Her eyes are beautiful.
